Welcome to our Tree!  What began as a straggly little sapling has become 
something of a mighty Oak during the last few years.  This website 
represents the joint efforts of two Berrett cousins... and all of their 
respective twigs: Dutton, Berrett, Hungerford, Bell, Scott, Payne, Mould plus 
a whole forest more!

We have so much appreciated contributions that we have received from other 
cousins (some quite distant, although no longer as distant as they were!), 
some of whom have shared photos, filled us in about generation gaps, shattered 
family myths - or gently corrected some erroneous data!

So please feel free to explore... and please do sign the guestbook!  The 
password for the site will be changed every now and then but, if you sign the 
book, we'll be able to keep you informed.

We'll be very glad to hear from you if you are linked to our Tree in any 
way - especially if you've got names, dates or photos to share!  If you are linked, 
then feel free to 'lift' any relevant data that will be useful to you - but please 
make sure you credit the source.

And one last thing...  It used to be possible to manually manage 'living' relatives 
in such a way that those who wanted to be visible could be, and those didn't could be 
hidden.  Changes to the Tribal Pages software unfortunately mean this is no 
longer possible: living relatives are either visible or they are not!  We've 
therefore chosen to allow living relatives to be visible, bearing in mind that 
no one can see the contents of this site unless they have been given the 
password.  We hope this arrangement will not offend anyone.  If is does, 
please let us know and we will immediately arrange for your data to be deleted.
